MCO, Inc Case Managers have established professional relationships between physicians and providers. By doing this MCO is able to obtain appointments quicker, obtain work status and treatment plans to begin the case management process. Updates are provided immediately to all. MCO Case Managers can assist in obtaining medical necessity and appropriate care for the injured worker in the timeliest manner.
Our Case Management is performed by Certified Case Mangers and Vocational Specialists
- All of our nurses are certified RN's with either their CRRN, CDMS, or CCM certifications or other certifications as required per state law.
- Our nurses also have their own Worker's Compensation provider number and are covered by our own liability insurance.
- Case Managers will contact the injured worker within 24 hours after receiving the referral as well as the adjuster and employer.
- We will accommodate an immediate evaluation of an injured worker either in person or via telephone. Catastrophic cases are given immediate attention.
- Our nurses have the expertise to review medical records and complete a Medicare Set Aside in a timely fashion.
- Our nurses work side by side to assist the adjuster in identifying the appropriate medical treatment that is related to compensable worker comp. injuries.
- Along with medical case management, our nurses are available for medical record reviews and utilization review. MCO, Inc. utilizes the Official Disability Guidelines to provide the treatment plan that will provide the best outcome for your clients.
